Peacemaker is an American television series created by James Gunn and scheduled to air on January 13, 2022 on the HBO Max service.

The first television series in the DC Cinematic Universe, it focuses on the Peacemaker, a DC Comics character whose movie version was introduced in 2021 in the film The Suicide Squad. Chronologically, it takes place after the events of the film.

Left for dead after his confrontation with Bloodsport during their mission on the island of Corto Maltese with Task Force X, Christopher Smith, aka the Peacemaker, has actually survived. He is found by Amanda Waller's team in order to give him new missions.
