Origin and character background
TheHungarian Horntail is universally renowned as the most aggressive, territorial and dangerous dragon breed in the wizarding world. Endowed with fearsome black spikes bristling along its tail and capable of spewing fiery flames over an exceptional distance, this colossal reptile is selected for the arena of the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. Drawn by Harry Potter in the form of an animated miniature, the monster is tasked with guarding a magical golden egg at the heart of a rocky enclosure. Demonstrating extraordinary agility on his Firebolt broomstick, the young hero manages to thwart the dragon’s brutal aerial attacks, seize the artefact and qualify for the next stage of the competition.
